Holiday Giveaway!

There are 106 days until Christmas, and I seriously need to get going on my crafting! I hope you all are doing better than I am. But for those who need some inspiration, I am having a fun little knitting-themed giveaway. The winner will get a copy of Handknit Holidays: Knitting Year-Round for Christmas, Hanukkah, and Winter Solstice by Melanie Falick and Susan Pittard. I am also including some yarn from my stash: 2 skeins of Patons SWS in Natural Navy; 1 hank of Inca Alpaca, 1 skein of KnitPicks Andean Silk Twist in Sunset, and 1 hank of Knitpicks Shadow in Redwood Forest.

To enter the giveaway, simply comment on this entry between now and Thursday the 11th. (It is important to leave a real e-mail address, otherwise I can’t get your information to mail out your package!) I will pick a commenter at random on Friday morning and hopefully start someone’s weekend on a happy note ๐Ÿ™‚.

Good luck, everyone!

I have been a crochetter for about 15 years now and just recently have been teaching myself to knit…this would be a wonderful “motivational” gift should I win!!!

Please count me in for your giveaway, I would be honored to win:)

My mother has recently retired and has been knitting to keep her busy and she now belongs to a knitting group which she loves and I know she would just love this~!
She even has angora rabbits and is spinning some of her own yarn but it’s a lot of work. I would like to win this for her. Plus I need some new winter socks since we live in Maine and it gets down right cold here. See there is a motive to my method lol. If I win you will not only make my weekend but hers too~! Thanks for having this wonderful giveaway.

What a lovely giveaway….please include my name in the drawing. My 21 year old daughter, who is the knitter in the family, would love this. She’s always checking new knitting books out of the library looking for new projects. And that yarn looks “yummy”. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Thanks,
    ~~Anne

WOW!!! I have just been telling my husband that I want to learn to knit. I have no clue how to do it but I know it would be a relaxing and productive skill to learn for me and pass onto my daughter. Thanks for having this drawing.

Please enter me in your fabulous giveaway. I recently took up knitting again only this time I knit with “nice” yarn and bamboo needles. What a difference it makes!

This would definitely help kick-start my projects for Christmas. I have to get some things knitted up to show the ladies at church so as to motivate them to join our knitting circle! Thank you for your generosity!

Ooh, I’m game. Definitely. I have lots of holiday knitting underway already. Mostly socks, which I am horribly addicted to knitting, but I also plan to do a little hooded capelet for the Bug. I love Falick’s books; I’ve used lots of the Weekend Knitting patterns.
