It’s been a while since I’ve participated in any kind of photography project and my skills are getting rusty. So when I saw a few people mention the December Photo Project I thought it would be fun to join. Some of you might remember my failed attempts at 365 Days over on Flickr. I came close, but never quite made it. I think 25 days, however, is reasonable.
I wish my first photo was something amazing. It’s not. But at least it’s something. It’s important for me to remember that for me this project isn’t about perfection, it’s about taking participation and practice. I’ve had a tiring, hectic day after a tiring, sleepless night. After the dinner dishes were done and put away I lit my kitchen candle, turned out the lights and enjoyed a moment of peace and quiet. Needless to say it didn’t last long, LOL, but I’ll take what I can get.
