I started doing this on my food blog at the beginning of the year, but it didn’t last very long. Dana, however, has tried to get the meme going again, so this week I saved my receipt and will participate. From yesterday’s shopping trip:

If you’re wondering what’s up with the insane amount of eggs and tortillas — I like to make a big batch of breakfast burritos for the freezer. They’re great for a quick dinner or breakfast on-the-go. Of course, I forgot to buy the bulk sausage, so I won’t be making those until later in the week.
Thanks for participating! Everything sounds yummy! Were they as organized in the cart as they were on here? 🙂
I love seeing what other people buy at the grocery store…..I’m always peering into the carts of other shoppers 🙂
What are potato puffs? Those sound good. 🙂
Potato puffs = tater tots.
