No one showed up. Not a single person. Not even our annoying nosy neighbor. Sigh… Though I’m not surprised. While our realtor was sitting at our empty house, we had a fun afternoon out. Originally we were going to take the boys to Trevor Zoo, but they both weren’t having the best days behavior-wise, so we thought we’d keep that one in our pocket for another day. Instead, we had lunch at Del’s in Rhinebeck — hot dogs for the boys, a grilled chicken mediterranean pita (with olive tapenade, tomatoes, and feta) for me, a grilled chicken with mozzarella, tomato, and pesto for Drew, and cheese fries that were shared by all. We also (of course) got soft-serv cones for dessert. After that we headed over to Greig Farm to pick some blueberries. Then we went over to the mall and did some random shopping. I couldn’t resist picking up this hoodie from Old Navy. My inexplicable yellow obsession continues. By then it was well after 4 and we were able to return home. We fed the boys, played, got them in bed and just relaxed for the rest of the evening. Months and months ago Drew picked up a video of North Shore, which is one of those movies that was on HBO all the time when we were kids. It was so fun watching it again, and really it’s not quite as cheesy as I’d remembered it!
And that was pretty much our day. Hope you all had a great weekend!
Ugh. No one? I’m so sorry. 🙁
At least you got a fun day out of the deal! Your meals sounded delicious … maybe we can go there sometime! I love Rhinebeck and have been wanting to explore it more.
OMG! I have that *same* hoodie except in black and white stripes. (I look horrendous in yellow, LOL!) I know that you’ll look cute in it!
