At least to me 🙂 That is, I’m talking about all the Vice President talk. Granted, I have only watched maybe 5 minutes of the summer Olympics and do not care to watch any more. But I am WAY more interested in who Obama’s pick is going to be. I’m going to guess Joe Biden. But probably because that is who I’m hoping it is (back in the early days of the race, I took a political compatibility quiz and I matched up closely to him). I’m hoping that since I can’t have my first pick (Hillary, obviously), hopefully Obama will choose a VP that I can get behind since I am not a huge Obama fan. Of cours I’m even less a McCain fan, but I’m interested to see who he is going to pick too, as I haven’t completely decided who I am going to vote for in the fall. (Though I’m pretty sure.) I’m just sad that yet again I feel like I have to vote for the lesser of two evils and not someone I can really support. Sure I could vote for a third party, but look what happened in the Gore-Bush-Nader race. What about you? Do you have a gut feeling about who either candidate will choose? Anyone in particular you are hoping for? Will a VP pick help swing your vote one way or another?
I was going to vote for Hillary. I’m *so* sad that she isn’t running. 🙁 I hope that he chooses her as his VP, but it would also be cool to have Evan Bayh because of the Indiana connection. 🙂
Uh yeah. I was all about Obama, then he picked Biden and I’m not sure I’m voting at all. I will have to see who McCain chooses, I hope Romney.
P.S. I cannot BELIEVE that you’re not into the Olympics! haha 🙂 I’m glued to them. It’s my favorite part of the day these days! I *really* get into the diving and gymnastics.
I’ve been an Obama supporter from the start. I can’t imagine another 4 years with someone who is just like or even worse than Bush. I’m sticking with Obama.
(I really did wish that Gore would run, tho!)
I’m pretty sure I know who I’m voting for (Obama). I know that I would NEVER vote for McCrain if he picks Romney as a VP.
I’ve been with Obama from the start. Just didn’t want another dynasty in the White House. We need fresh blood and thoughts. I liked McCain back in 2000 when he truly was a maverick. Now he’s Bush Jr. Ick. I’m ok with Biden as Obama’s VP pick. Bayh would have been good, too. Glad he didn’t pick our governor. Kaine is good, but not ready for the main stage yet. McCain will probably pick Romney. Seems like his safest bet.
I’m voting for Barr… I think Obama and McCain are both full of crap lol… they do have their good points but once they started with the name calling… screw them… not going to vote for them at all… and Biden bitched and moaned all the time about Obama at the start of his run… so not sure why he picked him lol… because it was all over the news down here lol…
