don’t let her cuteness fool you

Although my little pixie is adorable, don’t be fooled into thinking she is all sweet all the time. This morning I made the mistake of taking her to Target. We all went out to breakfast after we picked up the boys from CCD and I needed to pick up a few things. I thought, Gee, how hard can it be? It’s not like I need to do a lot of shopping. We can make this work.

Well, we made it work because we had to, but it was not easy. Lesson learned: Attempting to shop with Lulu is akin to searching for Charlotte jobs in the LA Times. In other words: it’s an exercise in futility. I’ll have to stick to running errands on my own.

I did get the three items I needed, at least. And I found a solution to my fashion dilemma. Although originally I wanted to stay away from buying yet another little black dress, the truth is that I no longer have a LBD that fits (a good thing). This dress is the right fit, and the right price:

It can be dressed up or down, so I think I’ll get a lot of wear out of it. Now for the fun part: shoes and accessories!
