Gourmet Treats from the Adirondacks

I think by now everyone knows that I love to talk about some of the great foodie-type businesses here in New York. I’ve been looking for neat little gourmet type goodies lately to round out some swap packages and gifts and I found out about Well Dressed Foods, a small company up in the Adirondacks that has some delicious sounding treats!

And that’s just a few of the offerings on their site. The prices are comparable to other gourmet foods, and I love that they use local ingredients whenever possible. As a resident of the lovely state of New York, that’s important to me. The packaging and products names, too, just seem to call out “Adirondacks.” I love it.

The company’s Web site has a number of delicious-sounding recipes showing you how you can use their products in a variety of ways. Plus, you can read about the history of the company — I thought it was pretty interesting to learn how the owner made his way from Atlanta to upstate NY. He seems passionate about what he does, and that’s something I can totally get behind!
