Mas pivo?

Hey Sherry, this one's for you: Czech, please! Restaurants in Prague worth getting excited about. I would be excited about pretty much any restaurant in Prague because that would mean I was actually there.

Little-known bit of Carol Trivia: At some point during my senior year in college, I got tired of answering "I don't know" to that annoying question, "So, what are you doing after graduation?" So, I started to tell people that I was going to live in Prague for a year (which was actually kind of believable because back in 1997 it would have been pretty cheap to live there; no idea what the cost of living would be now) and write. Most people actually believed me. Of course, the fact that I was taking Czech language classes kind of added a bit of credibility to my story. Sadly, I still have not gone. We did entertain the thought of going to Prague for our honeymoon, but ultimately decided on France. Someday... And if you're wondering what the title means, it's Czech for "Do you have any beer?"

But Can She Save A Cheesecake?

I love cheesecake.

Oh yes. Yes she can. The cheesecake I bought for Drew's birthday got smushed to one side of the container on the ride home from the store yesterday. Obviously I had to do something about that. It's amazing what just a little fresh fruit and apricot glaze can do to not only repair a cheesecake, but make it look a whole lot prettier.

Baby Claps!

Dude, there is nothing cuter than a baby clapping. And Noah clapped his first baby clap today! I'm going to be after him all day with my camera, hoping he'll do it again so I can get it on video. Tee hee! He's crawling all over the place now, sometimes faster than I can get him! He's also pulling himself up to a standing position and starting to cruise along very carefully. Jake wasn't even crawling by this point!

I'm planning a yummy birthday dinner for Drew tonight. Technically yesterday was his birthday, but we're celebrating it today. For dinner I'm making margherita pizza, Caesar salad, and I bought a small cheesecake for dessert. I know that I am really looking forward to dinner tonight! Hopefully he is too!
