I watching Swingers again the other night (for like the hundredth time, probably) and wondering about Las Vegas. I’ve never been, though I know two people who got married there, and several others who have gone on vacations or for trade shows. I’m not a gambler by any means (I stop when I’m like $20 up at the Connecticut casinos!) but I think it would be an experience. When I worked for the magazine, a couple of our trade shows were held there. I know one was at the Venetian hotel, which is supposed to be a great place. (The again, I don’t think you’ll hear too many people saying that any of the major Vegas hotel/casinos are dives!). Someday hopefully we can take a trip out West and do the Grand Canyon/Vegas thing. I’d really like to see more of the country than the Northeast, and the West is compelling to me.

I’ve been to Vegas at least 6 times and I’ve always had a blast! It’s definitely an “adult Disneyland” only more expensive if you gamble. 🙂
