‘Tis the season for getting engaged! According to a survey by the publishers of “Modern Bride,” nearly 26% of proposals take place between November and December. There are a lot of things to consider when buying diamond rings, though, and the purchase (much like the commitment) should not be taken lightly. I helped brush my brother up on the four “c”s before he made the leap last year. Of course, she said yes, and has a gorgeous ring in addition to a fantastic husband!
