It was so hard dragging my butt out of bed this morning. I was sooo cozy all curled up under my blankets. Someday I’ll get back at Noah 😉 But I’ve actually discovered that the mornings I sleep in a bit — even until 6 — I have a hard time getting everything organized and getting everyone out the door on time. Granted, I don’t do much between the hours of 5 and 6 except drink tea, read/respond to e-mail, and check blogs, but I guess it kind of eases me into my day and that makes all the difference.
What a crazy fall we’re having so far though, huh? Last week temperatures were in the mid 80s, and the last couple days it’s been cold and rainy. Drew and I were saying how the foliage this year is, well, lacking compared to the last couple of years. The leaves are changing late and at least around here it seems a lot are just turning brown and falling off the trees. There are no real vibrant colors to speak of. I guess we’re due, though. Can’t have a picture-perfect fall every year. Jake was supposed to go on a field trip apple picking today, but it’s rescheduled for next Friday because of the rain and wind.
I have a lot of blog posts I need to write up over the next few days, so don’t be surprised if there is a sudden surge. I have two product reviews I need to write, and I probably will be cranking away on some paid posts as well. Plus, yesterday I found out about Favorite Ingredients Friday over at Overwhelmed With Joy, and I’d like to participate in that. Hope you have a great (if not dry) morning!
